Masculine and Feminine Gender

A. Masculine Gender : kata benda yang digolongkan dalam jenis lelaki.

     for example : - father                - mother

                          - son                   - man

                          - grandfather       - mister

                          - waiter               - etc

B. feminine : kata benda yang digolongkan dalam jenis wanita.

     for exakmple : - girl                   - lady

                            - mother             - sister

                           - woman             - daughter

C. Common Gender : jenis kelamin umum

     for example  : - teacher              - doctor

                           - student              - friend

                           - parents              - bird

                           - farmer               - etc

D. Neuter Gender : jenis kelamin netral 

     for example : - river                 - mountain

                          - sea                  - island

                          - etc.

countable noun and uncountable noun

Countable noun : kata benda yang dapat dihitung for example 

1. chair

2. book

3. table

4. etc

uncountable noun : kata benda yang tidak dapat dihitung

1. sugar

2. air

Singular and Plural Noun

SINGULAR NOUN : Kata benda tunggal. for example :

• cat         - doctor
• dog        - bus
• table      - glass
• pencil 
• book

PLURAL NOUN : Kata benda jamak for example

1. With add  ( S ) in the singular noun. for example

     singular noun              plural noun

•  window               - windows
• door                     - doors
• book                    - books

2. with add ( ES ) in the singular noun that has the last letter O. For example 

       singular noun              plural

• mango                     - mangoes
• tomato                     - tomatoes
• volcano                    - volcanoes

     but sometime in the singular noun that has the last letter O not always put ES but put S that is singular noun that has last letter such as -O, -OO, -OE, -IO, and -YO for example :

       singular noun               plural noun

• piano                       - pianos
• radio                       -  radios
• soprano                   -  supranos

 3. with add ES if singular noun has last letter such as ( -s, -ss, -ch, -sh, or -x ) for example 

       singular noun                 plural noun

• bus                            - buses
• watch                        - watches
• class                          - classes

4. with change Y became I and then add ES if the singular noun has last letter Y and before letter Y is         consonant letter. for example :

      singular noun                    plural noun

•  baby                           - babies
• lady                             - ladies
• fly                                - flies

 5. with add S if the singular noun has last letter Y and before Y vocal letter. for example

       singular noun                   plural noun

• boy                              - boys
• day                               - days
• toy                                - toys

6. with change -F or -FE became -VES if singular noun has last letter -F or -EF. for example

      singular noun             plural noun

• knife                     - knives
• calf                       - calves
• wife                      - wives

      but some words in the singular noun that has last letter -F and -FE just add S. for example

       singular noun              plural noun

• proof                      - proofs
• hoof                       - hoofs
• strife                       - strife

7. it isn`t has different from singular and plural noun. for example

    singular noun              plural noun

•  deer                    - deer
• sheep                   - sheep
• hundred                - hundred

 8. only has plural noun. for example

• shoes
• mathematic
• trouser

       Many people say that English is very difficult. it is my experience how to improve my ability about English language.

1. memorize many vocabulary one day must memorize 10 words
2. watch english news or English films

the important of english language

 english is one of  internasional language that must be study in the school. it is begining from elementary school until university. as we know every student lazy to study inggris because them not understand if english very important. maybe in here i hope you realize that inggrish is important. for example before you graduate in senior high school you must have enough value. if you are studying in university you have to enter in class to speak english. and the conclusion english language is internasional language.
